I was curious if anyone had any luck with bringing in outdoor annual plants inside for the winter. I have a couple that I think I'd like to try inside and see how they do.....

the ones I am considering:

Flowering Maple
Mexican Heather
Coleus

Any thoughts???

Any of the plants that can be propagated from cuttings are good for keeping over the winter. Coleus is excellent for growing indoors from cuttings. I save a bunch of geraniums, cut them back by 1/2 and grow them over the winter in my cellar. In spring I have nice healthy plants to replant back in the garden.
