I recently heard a negative comment about those new coil garden hoses. It was from the only person that I know that owns one. Could you please tell me your thoughts. I wanted to purchase one or more but now have second thoughts. She mentioned that it is more trouble then what it is worth. Thank-you.
I don't have one, but I did see a review about them on TV. They said one disadvantage is that the hose has to be un-rolled all the way in order to use it.

jersey tomato, That is not the hose I was thinking of. Yes, I had one of those before, a flat roll up hose and yes, it had to be unrolled and then when you wanted to roll it back up, you had squeeze all the water out. No, the hose I am now thinking about, comes in different colors and looks like a large spring, in other words coiled up so that, so they claim, it spings back into a coil shape when finished. I have heard otherwise. Any takers?
I've read alot about this new hose, but have not purchased one yet. All the reviews that i've read sound good, but it's all up to the user if it is acceptable. Go to this site and read about this new fangled type hose. I would buy one (1), use it and then make up my mind if it suits my needs.web page

I have one. You want it? Post me an address and I will send it to. That's what I think of them.
OK for an emergency. Kept it in the camper, just in case, but for around the house, general useage. No good. Used mine once it the ten years I had it. They kink easily, you have to un-roll the entire length to use it.
