I got a beautiful pink/blue whirligig this year. The first few flowers were truly "gigs" but then the rest have decided to revert back to their plain daisy looking selves! (Osteospermum)

Does anyone know why?

This is what it's supposed to look like:
PRETTY (except mine is pink and blue)

Tree, What a unique flower! Smile I've never seen one. I came across the following site that might help.

http://www.osteospermum.com/

I was thinking maybe when the petals are past their prime, they unfurl? Roll Eyes

What a fabulous site, JT!!!

In the photo album listing,
they call it the "Spooned"
variety.

I saved it to my favourites!

No, they don't unfurl. I've
had the white and blue colour
of whirigig for 3 years now, and
it still maintains it unique shape.

Thanks again for the great site!
