I have morning glories in a couple of places in my garden - - they are starting to yellow - - not just some of the leaves and a little yellow - - they're are turning a lighter green and have kind of variagated spots.....is this too much or not enough water or????? I have fed them, but not recently as I'm afraid they would burn...

Most everything else is still green (with the exception of the 4 o'clocks - - they are turning the same yellow spotty color...)

Oh goodness, Lydia!

I treat morning glory as a weed and
pull it out as soon as I see it!!!

It eventually gets into everything
and is overly invasive!

I don't know if we're talking about
the same thing... but morning glory
around here is not given a friendly
welcome!

(Are you sure that someone
is not trying to poison it???)

Tree - - morning glories are actually planted here, don't grow wild - so we must be talking about something different. They don't spread really - you either put them at a trellis or near a lampost or something so they grow where they are planted and only trail around what's there - -they don't come back year to year....

Fuse had a great solution last night on chat though - - he suggested that I pull them up (along with all the other plants in the area) - throw them in the trash, level the ground and put in pavement - - it doesn't discolor and doesn't require watering.....

Yes, Fuse is talking like a MAN,
for sure!

We must be talking
about 2 different types of
Morning Glory! The one that
invades my garden is like a
vine and has large white
flowers! It likes to choke
everything... It's an annual,
but re-seeds itself every year!

I believe that there are a few
varieties. Hmmmmm....
