While I was at the Oklahoma City Zoo, I saw a red-berried tree that had weeping branches similar to a willow... I loved it and it was about 8 feet tall (but was probably young). I appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thank you!

Hi Johnna and welcome to Answerpool!

The tree could be a glossy buckthorn They are found all over the USA.

Hope this helps. Smile

Unfortunately I cannot access your picture from work but what you are describing sounds like Weeping Yaupon Holly. They are small leaved (1/2 inch wide by 1 inch wide) with shiny red berries. They grow 15 to 25 feet tall.

Hard to tell from your pic, but it could be a mountain ash.
