Living in South Florida, I can afford to have a garden all year long and take advantage of the weather.Recently,I thought that I could take advantage of those "cocos" falling down from my two Palm tress in the backyard.They produce at least 30 or more "cocos" each one periodicaly

Here's the question: Can I grow easily new Palm trees from those "coconuts"? Easily meaning; put the cocos in a container (5 liters for instance)use some potting soil, water, and "voilà"? I noticed the old coconuts being brownish compare to green for the new ones, can they all be used or only the brown( ripe)ones?

You want to keep them growing once they are planted.
