I have a bed in my front yard that is in the shade until around noon and then receives full sun until the sun goes down.
Would this be considered a partly shady spot or full sun?
I am asking so I know what flowers would thrive best there.

Thank you very much.

I would consider that a sunny area. The sun in the afternoon is far more intense than that of morning or evening sun.

Thank you for all your help. I am planning a major flower garden project this spring and I'm sure I'm going to have a lot of questions.

I must tell you. The thought of planning out each detail and being able to see *my* garden flourish fills me with such joy! Big Grin
