I got a new plant yesterday. It's called a China Doll and is about 6 feet tall and quite bushy. It's gorgeous! The woman at the store told me that it was very hardy and easy to take care of.
When I checked on the internet, it appears that it's pretty high maintenance!
Does anyone here have one? If so, how difficult is it to deal with?

a friend of mine has one, and yes they are fairly high maintance, but you can still take care of them pretty easy.
make sure the pot you plant it in has good drainage, keep the soil moist at all times (use a self watering pot, or those self watering stakes just to make sure) and they like at least 4-6 hours of sunlight. if it starts putting out new leaves like crazy, cut some off if you want. this will help it fill out, not jsut grow tall and spindly. also, feed it some plant food. my friend uses those plant food stakes, and they seem to do fine.
