My grandmother used to make a soup.. a beef soup with a very rich not-quite gravy. It was savory but I can't find a good recipe that is not quite a soup (as thin) and not quite a stew (as thick)... but something in between. She never used canned ingredients and I absolutely adored her soup.
I wish I had her recipe. She had many vegetables in it but no noodles or rice at all. She did have potatoes in it. _____________________

I think they run it only as a limited edition (as & when wanted) Mind you If you can make it yourself you can vary the amount .. Used to have scotch broth as a Kid I think it was Campbells brand which is a condensed Unlikely you'll find this or Smedleys the other main condensed soup maker (as they are both UK based) on the store shelf
