I was also saddened to hear of his death. Even tho he had had a few rough turns in his life, he was still a good guy. May he Rest in Peace. The rap industry will truly miss him.

Man, I wasn't a big fan, although I can only recall hearing Shimmy Shimmy Ya, but he was probably one of the most creative and flamboyant rappers since Flavor Flav. I do like some Wu-Tang though, so I guess they'll be different.

Ol' Dirty was a lot like me, and thats why I thought he was great. One crazy guy. He was loved by the average, revered by his fellow rappers, and loved and adored by the most unlikely people. He brought a uniqueness to the art, and was able to overcome a lot of obstacles, personal and criminal wise. He contributed a lot to the Wu. He will be missed.
Thank you Rusell Jones, you Ol' Dirty Bastard. You put on one hell of a concert. I guess God needed you more......
