does anybody know what T.I. stands for?
the only thing I can think of because I've seen it tatooed on people before is "Terminal Island" the prison.

I'm still looking. I did find a site that says if the tattoo isn't done in blue then they didn't get it in prison. Are the people you have seen with them all been in prison before? It could just be the name of a gang or something as simple as their own initials. Was it JUST those 2 initials or was there a pic around it? FYI: Terminal Island, California, is a low security facility housing male inmates. It doesn't seem like a bunch of people in a low security place would go around getting tattooed to remember it. Most tattoos in prison are done by people in max security not the stepping stone place before release. I will keep looking.

There is a rapper called TI. Maybe people just wanted his name tattooed on them. People do that all the time.

T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) is just a change to his real nickname T.I.P. He had to change it to T.I. since Q-Tip had a similar name as his. It avoided confusion for Arista Records. T.I. means nothing. He actually has a song called T.I. VS T.I.P. He calls himself T.I.P. in a lot of his songs. Funny thing, now that T.I. changed his name... Q-Tip changed his to Kamaal!

Q-Tip is such a strange name. Why would you want to name yourself after somethingthat people use to clean their ears with? lol

actually T.I does mean something...he explained it on BET 106 & park and he says it constantly in the song "ASAP"...T.I means is the first 2 letters of "Tilt", theres more to the story why he chose the name "Tilt" but i forget
