I've been trying to find this song for years. I don't know if it was by Melissa Manchester, but the name sounded kind of like that, and it was a female singer. She was singing about burning her fields at night. It haunts me because someone I once loved loved that song, and because my late husband used to burn our fields at night - a more exciting event than you might think.

Anyone have any ideas?
