Many years ago Joan Baez sang a beautiful song entitled 'Forever Young'. I tend to think it is based on a poem written during World War I in which the writer refers to the young men killed in action as remaining forever young in our memory. Does anyone know the words of this poem and the author?

Babs...welcome to the pool!...I'm a Texan myself. From Fort Worth and now living in the Silicon Valley of California.

This is one of the most beautiful songs, I think, that Bob Dylan ever wrote. Joan Baez does a wonderful job.

Here is a link to the lyrics for you.

I think I screwed up on my first attempt to thank you, so will try again. Thanks for the lyrics and the link.

I'll be leaving Texas too; retiring to the mountains of North Carolina. Beautiful, but a little remote. Thank God for the Net.
