Seeing and hearing him play "My Sweet Lord" at the concert for George is worth the price of buying or renting the DVD. Or I'm betting it's on the web somewhere. Youtube, maybe.
I heard him live at a recent Prince concert. Also very very good.

Bedstor: I was too lazy to look, since I have the DVD. Beautiful. And in case anyone who views the clip doesn't know, the young kid playing guitar in the white tunic is Dhani Harrison, George's son.

Billy's relationship with The Beatles led to his signing with Apple Records in the 60's. Billy is widely acknowledged as the "Fifth Beatle" having been the only party to ever [have] his name included in the label credits of the "Let It Be" and the "Abbey Road" albums as well as the landmark "White Album". Billy also appeared with them in the films "The Complete Beatles" and "Let It Be" as well as performing as part of them during their historic rooftop final concert.
I was only vaguely aware of him despite being a Beatles fan. Did he play the electric piano solo on Get Back?
