i heard a song the other day on the radio, it starts out really slow and i guy singing something along the lines of "momma i am coming home" then later it really picks up and the music reminds me of "play that funky music white boy". on another board suggested "Bohemian Rhapsody", but i know it's not that. sorry for the vauge description.

i haven't heard the song in a week, but i know it's an older song, sounded 70s. i remember they mentioned something about the gallows in it.

I believe you are referring to a song entitled "Renegade" by Styx.

It is on their 1978 album "Pieces of Eight."
