I don't know the tune, but once I saw that Quincy Jones did the original music, I thought Toots Thielemans would be involved. I was right. He did the harmonica solo. The film's original score was composed by frequent Peckinpah collaborator Jerry Fielding, but was replaced, at Steve McQueen's insistence, with the lighter, jazzier film score by Quincy Jones, shortly before the film's release. - Internet Movie Database
