Are you running any other programs while burning a CD? If so, perhaps your system is over extended with multiple tasks. Try burning the CD with no other applications running.
Do you have lots of spyware running on your system? If so, these pests may be robbing your system of the necessary system resources.

If spyware problems persist, I suggest you download the program "HijackThis" from
this page, then use the Help Forum link to post your HijackThis log for assistance.

Spyware CheckOnce you have successfully removed the problem program file(s), I suggest you download, install and run "SpywareBlaster" which will help with keeping these pests off of your system.
