Hi Sammy
Here's how to do it
Open Internet Explorer on top of page locate Tools>Internet options
In the next window locate the "content"tab in center OK Got that?
look down this page for the section called Personal Information press the "Auto Complete" button OK?
On the next page there are some tick boxes
top box is concerned with web addresses untick that..Though its what sort of info you want to have or not depending on ticking /unticking these boxes ,see how things go? then reset later on?
Ok Look for the 2 buttons under these boxes
up to you if you press then they only clear "name" and form entries
click the OK Button to set if you have altered anything here... Smile
Now reopen I.E.>Tools>Internet options and this time on the first page locate the "History" section (bottom of page)
all you do is press the "Clear History " button
while you are there reduce the number in the History box (this will limit how may site links are stored in future if you have only a small capacity hard drive set this to 14 days?(2 weeks) your call? Roll Eyes
Last job click on the Apply and OK buttons to save and close.

In the Internet Options window, General tab there is a button for "Delete Files". This deletes the "Temporary Internet Files". This is sometimes referred to as the "cache".

These are files that are stored on your computer so that if you visit a page a second time, you don't have to download the file again. The idea is to speed up your Web surfing.

It doesn't hurt anything to go ahead and delete these Temporary Internet Files occasionally.

Maybe I misunderstood - But...
You don't have to type in the address more than once. Click the down arrow on the address box.
If it is there already, click on it and it will connect you.
If you go to a place frequently, put it in Favorites and connect from there.
I have the Beginner Issues bookmarked and I go straight there/here.
Sorry if I misunderstood.
