All Right, guys - no laughing or snickering on this. "un-zipping file association' - - Went to http://nutsquirrel.com/classroom/index.html and scrolled 13 ads down and down-loaded 'viruses & cookies' (this down load requires microsolf Pwr. pnt.) [I've got that] - - But what I got was 'Power Point couldn't open C:\windows\desktop\litnin.zip because no converter for this file type is installed +++++ in Microsoft PP 'help' it said 'converters & filters' (six installed) ++++++ Went back to 'nutsquirrel.com' and downloaded his PPviewer 97. Got same 'can't open' window message. ++++++ Tried to change the file association with the instructions I have from Dwight's web. . . . tried to open it with IrfanView (also down-loaded from Dwight's site) +++++Even went to www.baxbex.com/products.html and down-loaded 'OpenExpert' (located 2nd from bottom) - - it didn't open the tutorial either - that I have down loaded from - 0ooops, if 'nutsquirrel' don't work try 'netsquirrel' [I see I've got it wrote both ways in my notes.] So what do I need to open this 'video' tutorial?

A ".zip" file is a file that has been compressed in order to reduce the file's size and make it easier to upload/download.

In order to open this file type, you need to install a utility program like http://www.winzip.com

You can read about using WinZip here.

Yep it came in a ZIP file, but I only had to click on the file and PPT was there, clicked it and it started the PPT......normally I create a folder and then unzip, and run from there...but was not neccessary this time....could also be of course the Zipped file is corrupted...perhaps download and try again?

If the .zip opened automatically, then it is a self extracting .zip file. The WinZip utility is not needed.

It sounds like the file Kleo2x got is corrupted. Try downloading it again.
