Another query maybe to do with the same problems I'm getting. Is it unusual that there would some unfragmentable files? Are any of these things important or can they be deleted or something?

No its not unusual. It happens to me at times too, there are some files that you wont be allowed to move, for reasons I've never found out. If it defrags the rest, you'll be ok.
