We have something that we do not know how to figure out. We got the blue screen of death, then went about using the back up disk to restore it. Now no programs will download, and java runtime enviornment has an error 1722 from sun java. The normal fixes, none of them work. Plus we are on theis merrygo round of "you can't use this program without that program" It is driving us all to the nuthouse. HELP!

angela, Have you tried to redo the recovery disks, or recovery partition? Try it once more, and if you get the option to format the hard drive, please do. With a format, it may work this time, please tell us what type of computer you have, model number, serial number, etc, so we can look up the specs on it. Thanks!
