You can isolate the Hiberation mode button(and settings) and Use some sort of screen saver instead
And using Hiberation uses a portion of the hard drive too

Isolate the Hibernation setting by Opening the
Power Options folder in the Control Panel, click on the Hibernation tab, Untick the tick box and press the OK button.
Ps you can even give the computer some thing to do while its idling?(and get a nice screensaver?) I have got a program called BOINC.
And it runs scientific projects while the computer is doing nothing the SETI project is the best known I'm running this plus a genetic research project plus a space project like SETI
Have a choice of many more but I'm doing "My little bit"
If you want to give it a try then start here

Use the idle time on your computer (Windows, Mac, or Linux) to cure diseases, study global warming, discover pulsars, and do many other types of scientific research. It's safe, secure, and easy:
1 Choose projects
2 Download and run BOINC software
3 Enter the project URLs, your email address, and password.
And here is the current list of Projects (all live links)
