If you have been following the Development of this Browser You may have seen the Announcement of "Themes"
But that was on the Version 4 Beta Version
However the stable Version 3 which is auto updating weekly playing Catchup has now recieved this feature too
You may see this Message displayed if the Program Has Not auto updated, or you are not a Chrome user
quote:
We're sorry, but themes are available for Google Chrome 3.0.195.3 and above only.
Workaround:
Perform a Manual update Click on the "About" Link on the "Wrench" icon Menu and click the link The quality of the Backgrounds is excellent .Though I'd like to see a Custom background option from Picasa? Or swappable with the Gmail browser Themes to give an even wider Choice. Worth lobbying the Google staff on that Idea
There are 128 on the page now
File sizes are 350K average
https://tools.google.com/chrom...en/themes/index.html Non Chrome users can browse but not download
Here is how to locate and set up the Themes (Version 3 or Higher)
Have to be online to start as you need a Download.
1) Click on the "Wrench" Icon >click "Options"
2) Next window click on the "Personal Stuff" tab and Look to the Bottom of the Window and the
Get Themes button will take you to the Webpage above.Note the
"Return to Default" Button to remove the themes completely is here too
2a) I was able to "Hot swap" the Themes over if the Webpage was showing in the Browser
I settled on a Cloud theme Titled "Splendid" to match my "Bliss" desktop theme
