How do I get the time printed on my printed-out pages (along with the printed date.) I have an Epson Stylus color 640 printer. ......... What I have done:File/page setup/clk on Q-mark(top right)/move mouse arrow w/Q-mark to header/footer field bar and 'clk' - menu opens - I chose "&t" [capital 'T' gives military time]. I have also been into Regional Settings in Control Panel. I put the "&t" in the 'footer' bar - should I have put it in the 'header' section? ............ What can I do to get the time printed on my printed out sheets?

What are you printing? If you're printing Web pages, you can see the Help section "To change how a Web page looks when it prints"

Click "Help" (in Internet Explorer), then click the "Search" tab. Type in "Print" (without quotes) and then select "To change how a Web page looks when it prints". Click the "Display" button.

To print this Type this
Window title &w
Page address (URL) &u
Date in short format (as specified by Regional Settings in Control Panel) &d
Date in long format (as specified by Regional Settings in Control Panel) &D
Time in the format specified by Regional Settings in Control Panel &t
Time in 24-hour format &T

Current page number &p
Total number of pages &P
Right-aligned text (following &b) &b
Centered text (between &b&b) &b&b
A single ampersand (&) &&

My Internet connection was dropped while this was posting, so all of my message didn't post. I wanted to add, you make the corrections by clicking the "File" menu, them "Page Setup".

If you're printing from a different program, like MS Word for instance, you can insert the date/time. Use the "Insert" menu/Date-Time. You will see a variety of date-time formats that you can choose.

Also, look at the Tools/Options/Print (in MS Word). You can choose to include a number of different things in your printed page. Click the "Question Mark" icon in the upper right corner for more information about an individual entry.

I hope this helps!

Dwight
