Been having problems with Java. Now when I click on the Java icon this message comes up. The system cannot find the registry key specified HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JAVASOFT\Java Plug-in\1.4.2_01 Can I add this registry key? Thanks

That plug-in version number (1.4.2_01) refers to the Sun Microsystems Java. I think it would be best to uninstall the Java, then reinstall it.
If I remember correctly, you're running Windows ME.
You will find the uninstall in:
Start/Settings/Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs
Scroll to Sun Java, select it and then click the "Add-Remove" button.
Try
this link to download the installation program.
I hope this helps!

Hi Dwight, that did help with the Java icon. I still can't get into my pogo games without it saying java is corrupted or misinstalled. I did everything that Tom suggested also (in my other post about java), but it won't work.

OK, thanks Dwight.
