Notepad is a simple text editor program and when it tries to load a large file whose size is close to the amount of available RAM, then the program will stop responding. I don't really know about the different types of memory on a computer. There is a 3rd way you can make a file and save it and that is to make a Custom folder in your email box Make your note and copy them to an email and address it to yourself send it off then save it to your "new" folder when it arrives less than a second later Wink
Does not put any load on your computer and your notes are saved elsewhere intact (and safe from crashed computers) Smile Some of these accounts are 2 or nearly 3 GB in size (in the case of Gmail) This is not open to everyone yet but... click on my (Picture) and my email address is on this list and email us and I'll send you an Invite to the Program (and it is easy to set up and run)
