That is a really easy one.. and fun too. I love making short-cuts this way! Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

Look at your address bar at the top of your browser window. In WIndows, I see an 'e' on a piece of paper sort of icon in front of my http:// address stuff.

Just take your mouse, hover over arrow/pointing hand over the 'e'/paper icon at the beginning of YOUR Answerpool address and drag it and drop it right down onto your desktop, or the link bar at the bottom of your page or the link bar above the desktop window.

(left click on top of the icon and then keep holding that button down while you 'drag' it to the location you want to drop the link.)

If you down size your window so you see your desktop as well as part of the browser window, you can drag and drop it onto your desktop. Smile

You can also use the File Menu/Send to command to send a shortcut to the Desktop. Do this with the page open that you want the shortcut to open.

Windows XP
I use a lot of short cuts. I have found the best way is to right click on a folder, file or program and left click on “send to” and it opens up another group of places to send to. I like send to desktop. When I get to many shortcuts on my desktop I try to group them by creating a folder on the desktop.(right click on desktop and create folder) I may have a folder called TRAVEL with short cuts to many different travel web sites. This helps to organize your desktop and keep it from getting too cluttered.
Another way is to use the LINKS. –If you right click on the taskbar and then hover over the toolbars you will see the Links. Put a check before it and you will see the Links show up in your task bar to the right. If you go to a folder, file or program and right click on it then click on create shortcut it will put a shortcut copy in the folder. You can then copy this shortcut and paste it into you links group or even into a folder in your links group.
