I was trying to empty my recycle bin, but then, after I tried to empty it, my computer still says I have 22 files in my recycle bin waiting to be emptied. I checked to see if it is true, but when I opened the recycle bin, there is nothing. I thought it must be some hidden files, so I change the folder option so I can see it all. After I set the option, I can't see the files still. Now, I am pretty sure that the files are deleted already, but my computer still says I have 22 files in my recycle bin, is there anything I can do to fix this?
hmm....how to open the command prompt window? do i type cmd.exe in the start/run? If it is, how come I get a message says, "Windows cannot find'cmd'. You may have typed the name incorrectly in the Run dialog, or another open program cannot find a system file. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search."?
This is where the Command Prompt is located on XP ,Got a feeling that all other versions of Windows have it in the same place Press the Start button then open the program list> click on Accessories and you will find the Command Prompt on this menu (black icon) When opened the window is white text on black post back if you get stuck?

Got it now. Thank you very much. I had to del the whole recycled folder in the c: directory and then restart the computer. Bazcaz, thank you very much for the page. It's really really useful. I got all the information I need from there.
