I have lost my volume control on my task bar.How do I get it back?

It depends on what system you're running. If you've got Windows XP, click 'Start' / 'Settings' / 'Control Panel' and look for the 'Sounds and Audio Devices' icon. Double Click that and check the box that says "Place volume icon on the task bar".

With other Windows versions that icon might be called 'Multimedia', but the check box option should still be there.

If you've got a Mac, I can't help you.

Another thing to check (Windows XP):
Right-click on the task bar's background (usually gray) & select "Properties". This brings up a window titled "Taskbar and Start menu Properties". On the "Taskbar" tab click the "Customize..." button. Find the "Volume" icon (you might have to scroll); in its dropdown box select "Always show".
