Luckyladee, the same thing happens to me, but I understand that Windows Mail is Outlook. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong...?

Catty and LL
Look at this post. Similar query (the other day)
My answer may give you an idea of what's going on
And Catty?
Windows Live Mail is far easier to work with than OE. Even Microsoft were promoting it when it came out to get people to use that instead

OE in ny opinion is a Dated Complex Program which has never really been simplified or rewritten Frown
LiveMail is M$'s attempt to be like everyone else (A cross between Yahoo!Mail & AOL Mail programs)

Maybe I did not explain myself properly, what I meant to say was when I have a word document and I want to send it to a mail recipient I click on file, then send to mail recipient and it is outlook that opens up. I would like for windows mail to open up when I click onmail recipient. How can I change that.

Thank you

Hi! Luckyladee How are you?

Assuming your main browser is IE:
From the “Start” pop-up menu in the lower left corner of your desktop, select “Settings” > “Control Panel”.
In the Control Panel, select “Internet Options”. This opens the “Internet Properties” window.
Click the “Programs” tab along the top.
Click the “E-mail” pull-down menu, and select, "Hotmail" , if this is you need.
Click OK. Done!

If you don't use IE then this page may help you.
