Have seen other postings with the same thing Happening on later versions Mad

Seems to be a sort of popup but from what I read
There seems no use for it
Confused
I suggest you visit the Quicken forums, they'll know what it's purpose is. Link on this page

do you think I could or should delete it. Right now it is inmy recycle bin. What should I do because the site you sent me did not really help me out or I misunderstood. I am really worried about what I should do.

Try this:

Go to this page (Quicken 2002 Updates page) and download any product updates. If the Q3.DIR file still appears on your Desktop, try the Quicken Live Chat line and see if they can offer a solution. As mentioned by Bedstor above, other Quicken users are seeing this same problem so they probably have a fix for this by now.

Click here for the Live Chat. Hours of operation: Pacific Times

Mon-Fri 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Sat-Sun 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Finally, if the Q3.DIR file has been placed in your Recycle Bin and you're not seeing any problems (error messages or program malfunctions) it is most likely not a problem to just delete the file. I would suggest you just leave the Q3.DIR file in your Recycle Bin for several days or until you've used the Quicken 2002 a couple of times with no errors. If everything works, I suggest you delete the file.

I hope something here helps!

Dwight
