Your best bet is to install Google Picasa
which roots out/indexes all the Files on the Hard drive which have Images then displays them Does also have many features for editing (easy to use) a glimpse here: http://picasa.google.com/features.html

A YouTube Video here

The Download link is at the Foot of the Page
or use this

Try Recuva. Go to www.recuva.com and download it, install, and search for pics thru the wizard. Its a good program for recovering lost files on your hard drive if they havent been overwritten.
