Many consumer DVD players can read JPEG images straight off a CD or DVD. (Often advertised on stickers on the case or in the manual) If your DVD player can read JPEG images, simply take your 360 pictures and copy them to a standard CD or DVD. This is probably the easiest way to accomplish the goal.

On a Mac with iLife, select the photos/events in iPhoto you wish to create a slideshow from. Click Share > Send to iDVD. When iDVD appears, choose a theme, then click Burn. A DVD-video will be ready to play on any DVD player within just a few minutes.

You can create a DVD-video disc using freeware on Windows... but it is a little tedious. You might be better off shelling out a few bucks for a polished commercial product if you plan to do this often.

Another alternative is if your DVD player has the ability to play Windows Media files. In such a case, you can use Microsoft Photo Story to create a photo slideshow, and export it to WMV format. Burn the WMV to a DVD or CD.

Last but not least, your digital camera may have included a set of A/V cables. Connect the camera to your TV, tune the TV to the proper input jack, and use the camera itself to show off your photos. An iPod also could be used in such a fashion using an iPod A/V cable.

Hope this was helpful.

From your original post the sequence 1,10,101,102 etc says that the comuputer is alphabetizing the sequence rather than recogizing the names as a number. If you name the files 001, 002,003 etc they'll sort in the fashion you intend.

I tried your suggestion and it still does not work. The pictures are in a folder on my desktop they have been reduced in size and they are numbered as the work progressed each day. I have Vista and when I do a preview of the said folder they come out just fine numerically that I have given them, but when I say slide show they aqare all oaver the place. I just don't get it.

Have you Tried Picasa From Google? This always keeps your images in your order system If you make up a Custom Folder and "Drag and Drop" the Pics into the folder. Only Con is It May take 1 or 2 goes to get it "right" Roll Eyes NOTE Can drop several in at once with practice
And as regards sharing you can also share them in the Picasa Web Albums (either private or public) Is Very similar to the Old AOL Pictures Album

TIP Do have a glance at the Video on this Page

Duplicated Screen Names EG. JohnSmith Become some thing looking like a Telephone Directory entry in No Time JohnSmith26554 leads into another NO Never Ever Put a Personal Number that can be used by an outside agency
Believe me there is software that scans for clues like this ...Ditto Live Logins...Even I have fell victim to the Latter and my account became a Spammer Posting about 200 posts in an Hour and The ISP server Blocked my account when it sensed this Happening. Was Offline for a few hours while I Had to make Calls to Tech support to Unblock, then make up a new Password. Red Face

Finally what I did is I made a CD for each owner of the condos where the pool has been renovated and they can see it on their computer by clicking one picture at atime. It seems to work out ok and you can be sure I will never do this again. Too much responsibility and too much work also. When you are not that computerlitterate. anyhow everyone seems to be satisfied. Thank you again LL
