could someone please tell me what is happening to my computer? this is what it says to me I really do not understand, I never had this happen before.

Outlook Express encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again.

windows XP professional 733 MHz 384 MB of Ram

Have you tried restarting the computer? Do you still get the same error?
If so...Close Outlook Express, then
1. Click Start
2. Click Search
3. Type in folders.dbx
4. Click Search
5. When the file or files are found, select and delete them.
6. Open Outlook Express and see if the problem has gone away.
7. If not, please repost for additional diagnostic steps.

I had 2 folders.dbx one with 73kb and the other with 12kb. Sometimes when I close OE and restart my computer it goes away but after a few days it comes back again, so I don't know where this problem comes from.

Folders.dbx is a required OE folder. When you delete it, then restart OE, the folder is recreated automatically. The error you describe can sometimes be caused by a corrupt of damaged folders.dbx folder, so deleting the folder allows OE to create a new one, thus correcting the error.

Well thank you Dwight and I did what you suggested and it has happened once again what I did now was just close OE and reopened and it was ok. I will let you know if it happens again and then maybe you can tell me if there is anything else I might be able to do to resolve the problem. Thank you once again LL.
