Hi. I have vista and when there is no activity on the PC for a certain length of time, the PC will "lock" and you have to click to resume. Not a really BIG deal, but annoying.

I've looked around without luck. How do I set it so it doesn't lock?

Thanks!

Try looking at the Display Properties window (right-click a blank area of the Desktop and choose Properties). Click the Screen Saver tab and then look into the "Monitor Power" section. If this computer is a Desktop that is plugged into an electrical outlet, you can set it to "Never" go into suspend mode or to "Never" shutoff the hard drive/monitor and so forth.

I hope this helps,

Dwight

Dwight... can you post a link to your website here? I used to have it in my favourites, but with my new PC, I don't have it. Should have saved it. Frown

It's OK that you don't have anything for Windows Vista. I just found your site to be very helpful!

Thanks!
