I'm only posting this here because it didn't fall within another category - feel free to move if necessary:

Over the last year I've been wanting to find someone to make a new homepage for HerPort.
Which will be Ladies Cabana once done. First, I just plain didn't have time to do it. (See my "gizmo's 2007 update" post at DP)

The person who helped me get this site up and running after switching from the "other" place, decided they didn't want to be involved with any AP sites, which is a shame, because he was very talented and I considered him a friend...he left about something unrelated to my site and left everywhere (to pop up now and then for awhile lol - but thanks again Bill, couldn't have done it without you!)

So....that left me at square one....I would LOVE to possess the knowledge, but I barely know Phpbb much less FTP stuff...and even if I had the time to take a class, I'm not sure I would have had the time to actually do it (crazy year and all) And yes, my SO is very computer savvy, but his genius is in the construction of computers, not the programs.

Please...if anyone is into web design and is GOOD at it..my primary need here is for a really cool home page for "Ladies Cabana", one that will include a snapshot of the forums, along with numerous links to women-related sites...I'll take the responsibility for providing info on those sites.

I just really want Ladies Cabana to be a place they want to be at..There are alot of places like that out there...and I'm sure I'll include some of those in my links.

I'm just desperate to find a Webmaster. If anyone is in the web-biz, great...you can certainly have credit at the bottom of each page in hopes that you'll get more business. I've seen many cases when the quality of the webmaster on a site gives them a huge number of referrals!

I will not take any other action until 2/1/08...if, by that time, I haven't heard from anyone in our AP community that they'd like to take this on, I will pursue something locally. Oh, and I guess it's important to mention, I obviously am willing to pay for this service. My email address is in my profile .

Oh...and in the meantime, there is no question that I'll keep HerPort up and running as is until we can get this done.
