Wow, that is very weird...
Can you detail your system a bit? Computer type; laptop/desktop? What Operating system? What program were you typing in?
Should this occur again, can you try typing into the program "Notepad"?
Start\All Programs\ Accessories\ Notepad
If it works in Notepad but not in another program (like MS Word, for instance) then the problem may be confined to that program, not the keyboard.
You can also try uninstalling, then reinstalling the keyboard.
To do that, right click on the My Computer icon and choose "Properties".
Click the Hardware tab, then the Device Manager button.
Click the + sign to the left of the Keyboard entry and then right-click on your installed keyboard. Choose "Uninstall" from the right-click menu.
Once this is done, OK your way out of the Device Manager window and restart your computer. The system will see the keyboard and automatically reinstall the drivers for the keyboard and hopefully will correct the problem.
