Does anyone know what settings I need to change so that I can view YouTube videos again?

It's most annoying!

You can't view any videos? Usually when it says "video not available" it's because the video is gone for good. Where does it say this, and does it say anything else?

All is says is:

"We're sorry, this video is no longer available."

It opens properly and the video screen is black and suddenly the message appears on the top.

When I googled this, I see that many people are having this problem. It's not with all videos, but with several.

I appologize for bumping this up....

But wondered if anyone has found out any info.

Tree, I may be misunderstanding you, but if you can see some videos on YouTube, then probably the ones where you get this message, have been removed because of copyright issues.
I look at YouTube a lot, and people post stuff very quickly, and some of it might be up for an hour or so, and is then removed. For example, it was possible to watch the whole of the movie "Juno" on YouTube for a few days. Obviously, the distributers got wind of this, and it disappeared, but the link was still there.
Another example is the Beijing Olympics; clips are being posted very quickly right now, but are removed within hours.

dg and bedstor, I'm talking about YouTube links that people post in forums. I get that message, while others comment on the video clip and are able to see it.

It seems, for some reason, that I'm not getting that message anymore and am able to view them again. Weird.

I get that too and I think its either down to bandwidth Limits on the server or The Moderator Has taken it down after a complaint and held for Review. Frustrating ? I often try other places with the same video title link on a general search and Yes we do have some joy

I found a solution to the Youtube Not available video on Youtube, try downloading firefox the most up to date firefox 3.0. My brother told me that the Internet Explore have issure with youtube video, so Firefox is an alternative internet browser. So just download Firefire.

ceddas, I heard that "fix" from our IT guy at work. I downloaded Firefox, but nothing changed, so I uninstalled it.

You know what? For some magical reason, I can see them all again without a problem. Go figure.
