My friend has been trying to download msn 7.5. He keeps getting a message saying error 1603. Does anyone know what that is and how to fix it?

Easy one the error message is from the "Installshield" program For a "General Fatal error"

Which means a Misinstall in my Book
Sometimes it can install, and not work at all due to a bug, different error messages ,jam/s or no shows...

My advice try a New download of the program again,deleting the old version and the downloaded file of the file which is causing this problen and I think that will work

Go to your address line & type:

Error 1603 & Enter.

It will give you 2-pages of information as to what the error is..
