I have this folder under my computer named Filelib, I was just wondering what it is? I checked the properties on it and it says 0 bytes, can I delete it or is it something important?

Filelib sounds like a contraction of the words "File" and "Library".

Does anything on this Google search results page seem to be related to this?

One thing you can try. Delete the folder but let it remain in the Recycle Bin. If any problems appear, go to the Recycle Bin and "Restore" the folder.

I hope something here helps!

Look again at the properties on this file for the creation time/ date then run a search via the Search Program(on the Start Menu) and see if there are any matches?
Why not locate and download a tiny(Freeware) program called EasyCleaner
www.toniarts.com/ecleane.htm
I have used this since the New Year and it cleans file remnants out of the system (does a good job Wink) and is safe to use.Speeds up your computer getting rid of these bits and pieces

Well, whatever it was it disappeared after a restart. I was trying to upload my pics from my rca digital camera and it was really giving me problems, freezing up and being a reallll pain! Anyways, after I finally got my pics, everything is back to normal, but thanks I will definitely try the cleaner, since I do not have reg cleaner anymore. Once again, Gracious! Wink

Files like these are very common, their function is to act as a Temp databuffer(valve) when data is moved through the program but when inspected they have nothing in them They are sometimes known as "Dummy" files or occasionally zero or "0" byte files,If deleted they will stop the program working!
They are a throwback to the DOS era(pre 1985?) where you would type things in as Variables And these would have the same effect some would have a default value of"0" ,but there is a second value which when reached moves the data to the next stage, and the cycle would start again (100s of times per second)
Nowadays it is just these "temp" files that do the whole job (Shows how long I've been using computers)
