Catty, By object, I mean any file, song, folder, etc. The Zip compressed is not the D drive, I'm afraid. It doesnt seem like you do have a CDRW drive, but they're relatively cheap at Walmart if you have someone who can install it for you. I would say your D drive is being recognized, but it appears your CD is not. If its a high speed CD, and a lower speed drive, it wont see it. Some CD's will state on them or on the package that they go up to 24x, or 56 x, and if your drive only sees them up to 6x or 8x, it wont show up. Do you have anyone who can replace the CD drive with a CDRW?

Flash drives are better and easier than CD's in my opinion anyway, . You can always get another flash drive, with a bigger capacity, I've seen them up to 8 gigs so far. chris
