I have the free Microsoft Powerpoint Viewer 2003. I want to uninstall it but it is not listed anywhere in Control Panel Add/Remove Programs list. How can I uninstall this? Thanks.

It claims it will clear issues like Yours.Off another forum with the same thing as yourself -common issue
If you can get it to List and Delete Let us Know Smile
PS Have you looked on the Start menu Microsoft Powerpoint Viewer entry for

Another option is to download and install the PP viewer program again. Then when finished, uninstall it. Often this problem is caused a damaged installation file and the reinstall fixes the file so that you can then uninstall the software normally.

Yes, the first thing I did was check the start menu to see if an uninstall link was there, but there isn't any.

Microsoft has PPV 2003 version listed at their Office site but when I clicked the download link it says, "Page Not Found" so it's probably not available any longer. The only one they have is the 2007 version. I installed/uninstalled it but it failed to take the 2003 version with it.

I installed Revo and gave it a try but it doesn't find/list PP Viewer 2003.

Suggest you open the Program Files Folder
there may be a file there you can delete

Is It listed on the Start menu?
If so you maybe able to get directly to the Flles by right Clicking on the Program Name and selecting "Explore" on the Menu
It will take you directly to the Folder
Delete everything here
Next Download CCleaner from www.ccleaner.com
and Run both the Cleaner and Registry Cleaners
This will remove the remnants of that program
And a Lot more besides and is safe to use
There are lots of tick boxes Besides tthe Resuls window
Untick the Following box on the Registry Cleaner before you start the scan
Start menu ordering
On the Cleaner menu

Untick Cookies ,History in the Internet Explorer section

Windows Explorer:
Run (in Start menu)
Other Explorer MRUs

System:
Clipboard
Start menu shortcuts
Desktop Shortcuts

Advanced:
Menu order Cache
Window size Location cache
User assist History
Custom Files and Folders
Free wipe space

You are Now good to go
there is an Applications Tab You can look over But Its up to you what "goes" here
Every one Has a different list
There is a Windows Program list but even if you "see" the Program that you are trying to remove here It will be not here when you Visit again Smile

By way of a PS click on the Blue Spanner /tool icon or that sounds a Lot
This Leads to another Uninstall list (this is Longer than The Windows List)
Is your program on this List?
If so click on it then Click the "Run Uninstaller" button on top of the Buttons on the Right

Next run the Registry cleaner ....
You won't see that again Smile
It'll take you 10 minutes tops

You can download the installation file here for $2.99.
PP2003 Viewer

I also saw a link to PP2003 Viewer in Spanish if you could use that: Spanish Version

You might find other download sites looking for *vintage or older software and PowerPoint viewer 2003.

Good luck

I downloaded the Spanish version, installed/uninstalled it, and it took the existing PPV 2003 with it. Thanks to both of you for your help.
