I downloaded ppviewer.exe . However , when I come across a powerpoint thing that I want to view , this always comes on :

" This file does not have a programme associated with it for performing this
action . Create an association in the Folder Options Control Panel " .

I have absolutely no idea how to do this . Could you please help . Or is there an easier way to have power point viewed ? Thanks . Don

Here is the official LINK to Microsoft's Power Point download site & the INSTRUCTIONS sites. It runs through how to download and install Microsoft's Power Point Viewer 2003. Post if you still run into a problem.
Good Luck

Try this: Save to your computer the powerpoint file that you want to view. Then right-click on the file and choose "Open With" from the right-click menu. Choose the program "Powerpoint" as the program you wish to use to view the file. Check the option to "always use this program to view files of this type".

This should result in opening the powerpoint file and the next time you see a powerpoint file and open it, Powerpoint will open.

See this picture.

Right on target Dwight. This also works for any file that is not associated with a program provided the program can open that type file extension.
