When I log on to Windows, this message comes up. If I click cancel, I can proceed without any problems.
File: TFTP2068
To open this file windows needs to know what program created it.....etc.
Use web to find what program created it
or
Select from a list... which I also did, choosing Internet Explorer. Either way, I was able to proceed, connect to the internet and all,
SO, the computer seems to operate fine, but why am I suddenly getting that message?
I'm running winxp home. Thanks, all you gurus Smile

Oh, ya, p.s. When I shut the computer down, I get the 'program not responding' message, end now or cancel.

I don't know what this "TFTP2068" file is, but I think it is associated with this Web address: Click Here

When the page opens, if you'll scroll down near the bottom, you see a link to "TFTP2068". The link doesn't work.

If you click on the "Parent Directory" link it will take you here.

I think it would be safe to just remove the "TFTP2068" file from your startup list.

Click on
Start/All Programs/Startup
and see if the "TFTP2068" file is there. If so, right click on it and select "Delete". Click "Yes" to allow it to be moved to the Recycle Bin.

If you don't see the "TFTP2068" file listed, click:
Start
Run
Type
msconfig
and click OK.

Click the "Startup" tab and uncheck the entry for "TFTP2068". Click OK on the window. Restart the computer when prompted.

Note: You may see the "TFTP2068" file shown as "TFTP2068.exe".

I hope this will help!
