On some sites, when I click on an email link, I get a message saying "transferring to Word 2003 as your email text editor." That takes me to Outlook for some reason. I don't want Outlook to be my text editor. I don't want Outlook at all! What can I do?

Thanks for any help.

The email default values are set in the Control Panel --> Internet Options --> Programs tab
Click:

Start
Settings --> Control Panel (or just Start/Control Panel depending on your system)

In Control Panel, open Internet Options
Click the Programs tab

Look at the Email Options. Select your preferred email program. If you're using MSN mail, choose "MSN Explorer" as the email option.

OK your selection and then click on an email link to see if it works. You can try this email if you like: http://dwightblackburn.com

Thanks, Dwight. I picked "MSN" and "Notepad" for my HTML editor. Hope it works!
