I am trying to help out a friend who has windows XP and something is not right. If she goes on IE looks at some web site and then wants to go back to a previous web site she automatically goes back to her desktop. If she tries to send an email she clicks on a few contacts to add to her message once she says add to message she goes back to her desktop. I really don't understand why this happens and I really have no idea how to fix this. Sure hope sosmeone out there has had this problem before and has found a solution. Thank you agais for all your help.

If it "drops out" of the website onto the desktop
Ir could be possibly 2 reasons and that is either Java or Shockwave (2 helper programs) that need updating
Give these addresses to your friend and She can download the latest updates
Java is on this page (click the Blue button)
http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
and Shockwave is www.adobe.com/products/shockwaveplayer/
Both free.

The Flash Program is closely related to Shockwave and you can also download that to cover that base (they don't clash) size is just 1.5MBs
