My list of yahoo bookmarks is very long. Is there an easy way, without going from web site to web site, to find and delete deadlinks & duplicates?

Practices Regarding Your Ability to Update or Delete Information

You can edit your bookmarks at any time by clicking on the pencil icon next to the folder you want to edit.

If you want to delete a bookmark, you can do so by checking the box next to the bookmark you want deleted, then clicking on the Delete button.

You can easily delete duplicates using this edit. As far as dead links go to this page and see if any of the free downloads meet your requirements.

If none of those programs seems right for you, another possible fix is to export your Yahoo bookmarks to Internet Explorer, then use one of the tools to validate the bookmark in Internet Explorer's "Favorites". I think you would be able to remove dead links quickly.
