I installed FireFox and made a big mistake of deleteing IE6, and cannot find out how to reinstall it....
Anyone know ??

go to microsofts web site you can get it there
or you can get from your install cd what ever your os is winxp ect

What version of windows are your running?

If it is XP yu can go to control panel, add remove programs and open that.

On the left there are a few options, click on "Add/Remove Windows Components"

Clicking on that will open another window - on my XP Internet Explorer is the fth object down. Make certain that it is clicked (a check mark will appear in the box).

click on Next and it will be "configuring"

At that point it may ask for the disk (you should have at least one Disk if not more that came with the computer).

I doubt that going to IE site for the IE6 will give you the full package it was just an upgrade.

Please note that last link is for windows 98/NT/ME/2000 it may not work in XP.

(edit) I just found this last link when comes to downloading IE6: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/ie6sp1/default.mspx

Please note, do try to install it through Add/Remove programs first - even if you do have an earlier version on disk or that came with computer, you can upgrade to ie6 by going to Windows update page.
