How can I copy the image on the page below? I use Firefox. (I'd certainly settle for someone copying it as large as possible and e-mailing it to me in a file.)

One option is to print the whole page, then use your scanner to zoom in on the picture to capture it. The page is a PDF file, unlike a regular web page.

i use Firefox with an addon/plugin called Screengrabber...super easy.

if you're using another browser, you can use a free (safe, no adware) program called IrfanView...also super easy.

Irfanview is here (www.irfanview.com seems to be down at the moment so use alternative site):
http://www.techspot.com/download299.html

Irfanview is MUCH better than wasting printer paper, especially if you want to post it online.

you can use www.tinypic.com to upload & host the file if you don't need/want to save it on your pc or where you're posting won't allow files uploaded from your pc due to space restrictions (the website has to store the file & most places want you to let someone else spend the money on the hosting duties).

edit: didn't notice it was a .pdf; will see if Screengrabber works for that & post back.

okay, have a pdf editor and several graphics programs...copied it in my pdf editor, opened graphics program & created a .bmp file, saved it to my desktop, uploaded it to tinypic and here's the result. go to (too big for this post, i think): http://i38.tinypic.com/344w1t5.jpg

you can zoom it (in Firefox) with no loss of clarity. if you want to post the whole thing, just put tags around it...

i tried it here, and was a little large (you had to scroll to the right & up and down). original .bmp was almost 70mb; tinypic converted it to a .jpg which was only around 7mb. no way do you want the original emailed at 70mb...well, i wouldn't think you would.

open the link & you can copy/save it to your desktop...although you didn't explain exactly what you plan to do with it, so this is the best i could come up with quickly.

post back if you want something else.

I got the e-mail. Thanks. Unfortunately, all that came through is the drawing. I need the entire front page to put on items in my gift shop. (I also haven't a clue how to handle a .tif file.)

Cake, I havScreengrabber. I also can't seem to figure out how to use IrfanVIew on that image.

Any e-mail messages should be sent to my screen name using @gmail.com.

Thanks for the information and help. If I knew more about how to use a computer, I might be better off.

Sorry... I thought you only wanted the picture and not the whole article. If you want the whole article, you should be able to just download the pdf file and print it on your printer. I can rescan the entire file for you and save it as a jpg file if you want.

If you want the individual articles, I can scan them individually for you too. Just let me know how high a resolution you want them to be. Anywhere from 200 dpi to 600 dpi... all depends on how large you wish to print them out.

This would be perfect! Please send it to mygmail address, and as large as you can send it. I think 200-300 dpi is correct, too.

Thanks!
