I had some problems with my Winxp home, so I did a restore. Now, I want to install SP 1a, but I am supposed to disable my Norton AV. The last time I did that I forgot to disable Av and had a host of problems. My question is, how do I disable it? Just disable auto protect, or remove the whole thing from my computer?
Also, I did read about both Sp1, and SP1a. Is there any more benefit to one over the other?
